This page sets out our full ‘Terms and Conditions’ for Deliveries, Returns and Refunds.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase or have changed your mind you can return your goods and get a refund or exchange for up to 14 days from the date you received the product. If you want to return a product, please email us at info@mysecuregarden.co.uk and we will respond to you as soon as we can.

1. Online Orders (excluding Garden Storage products)

 
Delivery Areas
 
We currently only accept orders for delivery to UK post codes (England, Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland).  If you require delivery to the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands please contact us for a quote.  We reserve the right to charge additional delivery costs to these places. We do not currently offer international shipping.
 
Delivery Charges
 
All orders (excluding orders for Garden Storage products and associated accessories) are subject to a flat delivery charge of £6.95 for a minimum 2 to 4 working day delivery service (e.g. Royal Mail Tracked 48 or similar DPD, DHL or DX services). Some orders are dispatched using a next day delivery service.
 
We offer free delivery on orders over £250 (excluding orders for Garden Storage products covering the Asgard and Trimetals brands and associated accessories). Delivery charges for Garden Storage products and associated accessories are set out separately under Section 2 below.
 
Delivery Times and Tracking
 
All orders are processed and placed with our suppliers within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification from us when your order has been shipped.
 
If you purchase goods over the weekend or bank holidays, please be aware the order date will be taken as the next available working day for processing and delivery purposes.
 
Most of our orders are handled and dispatched direct by our suppliers using a direct home delivery service. Several of our suppliers use a next day delivery service as standard. The precise time your parcel is delivered will depend upon the time your order is received and placed with our supplier and the delivery service that they use.
 
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email notification from My Secure Garden Ltd which will include a tracking number that you can use to check the status of your goods. You may receive more than one email notification and tracking number if your products are dispatched by different suppliers.
 
Delivery times are best estimates and are given in good faith and may be subject to change due to a range of factors.  My Secure Garden Ltd is not responsible for delays which are outside of our control.
 
If you haven’t received your order within 10 working days of receiving your dispatch confirmation email, please contact us at info@mysecuregarden.co.uk and we will investigate this for you.
 
We will always aim to ensure your products are delivered within the timescale quoted above, and in any event within 30 days of receiving your order. If our suppliers of the product(s) you have ordered are delayed by an event outside our control or the control of our suppliers then we will let you know as soon as possible and take steps to try to minimise the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay (beyond 30 days of placing your order) you are entitled to contact us and request a full refund for any products you have paid for but not received (including any shipping costs paid).
 
If you are not home (or at your designated delivery address) when your items are delivered and the courier was unable to deliver the goods to you or leave them in a designated safe place then we reserve the right to charge for any subsequent delivery charges for re-delivery and any associated costs incurred by us as a result.
 
The responsibility for disposing of any delivery packaging materials lies with you, the purchaser.
 
Orders Consisting of Multiple Brands
 
In some cases, your products may be split between more than one courier, dispatched in multiple packages and delivered at different times or on different days. This is likely to be the case when you purchase products from different brands for which we have different suppliers. Orders placed for multiple brands will not incur separate delivery charges.
 
Cancellations and Returns
 
You have a legal right under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. We will accept returns for up to 14 days from the date you received the product provided the product is unused and in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return, provided the goods being returned are received by us within 14 days of you notifying us that you wish to cancel your order. If the item has any signs of use, or you fail to return all the pieces and parts within the specified time we will not be able to offer a refund.

Damaged or Faulty Products
 
In the event that a delivered product arrives damaged, or any of your products are faulty or have missing parts please contact us as soon as possible within 14 days of the product(s) being delivered to you. We assess all damaged and faulty items on a case by case basis and work to obtain a satisfactory solution, including arranging a collection and re-delivery. We cannot refund any products which have been damaged whilst in your possession.
 
If more than 14 days have passed since you received your product(,) and you have failed to notify us that your delivered item(s) are faulty, misdescribed or missing any parts, we will unfortunately not be able to offer you a refund or exchange unless the product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
 
Refunds and Exchanges
 
Any items being returned or exchanged will need to be received by us within 14 days of you advising us that you are returning your item(s) in order for a refund or exchange to be processed.  We will only replace items that are damaged or defective if we are notified about the damage or fault within 14 days of your receipt of the item and we receive the item back within the 14 day return period.
 
If you are entitled to a refund, the amount should show in your account within 14 days of us receiving your returned goods. If your refund has not reached your account within 15 days and you have concerns, please contact us at info@mysecuregarden.co.uk or by using the form on our Contact Us page and we will investigate.
 
We will only provide refunds after we have inspected the returned products. If it is considered that you have handled the items in an unacceptable way then you will be liable for the costs and will not be eligible for a refund.
 
Cost of Returning Products
 
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning any products after they have been dispatched and delivered. If you are entitled to a refund (because your item arrived faulty or damaged or with missing parts) the cost of your return shipping will be added to your refund.
 
If you are exercising your right to change your mind then we will refund the original order amount however you will be responsible for returning the product to us at your cost and within 14 days of notifying us that you are cancelling your order.
 
Replacement orders (for damaged or faulty items returned within the 14 day returns period) will be delivered free of charge and we will refund the cost of your return delivery to us upon receipt of your damaged or faulty product.
 
The maximum refund for delivery costs will be the costs of delivery by the least expensive delivery method that our suppliers offer i.e. a minimum 2 to 4 working day delivery service (e.g. Royal Mail Tracked 48 or similar DPD, DHL or DX services). If you choose to have the product returned to us within a shorter delivery time which is at a higher delivery cost (e.g. guaranteed next day or 24 hour delivery), then we will only refund what you would have paid for the cheaper delivery option.
 
Missing Returns
 
My Secure Garden Ltd cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any returns which go missing in the post and do not reach us. If you are returning an item to us, we advise that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. If a parcel you are returning goes missing before it reaches us you are advised to contact your shipping or courier company and ask them to start an investigation. If the parcel you were returning to us is declared lost in transit you will need to seek compensation direct from the courier company.
 

2. Online Orders for Garden Storage products (Asgard and Trimetals brands)

 
All orders for garden storage units covering the Asgard and Trimetals brands and their associated accessories are subject to specific delivery procedures and timescales.
 
Asgard and Trimetals both manufacture their products to order and their delivery times can vary depending on the product/unit and accessories ordered and can change at short notice, particularly during periods of increased demand.
 
Asgard Product Orders
 
Delivery Procedure and Timescales
 
All Asgard storage units are manufactured to order in their factory in Bradford, and the delivery time for all new orders for Asgard metal garden sheds, secure bike stores and motorcycle storage units approximately is 8-10 weeks from the date we receive your order. Some garden storage accessories supplied by Asgard are only available at the time of the initial storage unit purchase. Certain accessories supplied by Asgard such as various Yale security products are available separately from an Asgard storage unit order and are usually delivered within 7-10 working days from their receipt of your order from My Secure Garden Ltd. All orders for Asgard garden storage products are processed and placed by My Secure Garden Ltd with Asgard within 2 business days of receiving your order confirmation.
 
Asgard provide delivery to most UK Mainland postcodes, with their delivery cost usually included in My Secure Garden’s advertised price.
 
An additional delivery charge will apply to certain post code areas including some parts of Wales, Scotland, and South West England. Please follow this link to view the delivery matrix for chargeable delivery postcodes.  My Secure Garden Ltd.’s £250 free delivery policy set out in Section 1 does not apply to any additional delivery charges set out on the Asgard delivery matrix.
 
If you wish to place an order for Asgard products for delivery to one of these additional charge post code areas please contact us on 07719 951280 and we will process your order over the telephone.
 
Asgard is currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland. Orders for overseas delivery will not be processed and a full refund will be given within 14 days of your order confirmation.
 
Asgard Order Process
 
Once your order has been processed and placed with Asgard you will receive a confirmation email from My Secure Garden Ltd confirming the details of your order. If you have any questions about your order or delivery date (after receiving your order confirmation email from My Secure Garden Ltd) you will need to contact Asgard direct, quoting your order number. Asgard can be contacted on 03456 580 730. You will receive and email / text from Asgard 21 days prior to your delivery confirming your delivery date along with a 6 digit order number.  You will receive a further reminder of your delivery date from Asgard 5 days prior to delivery, along with a delivery 4-hour time window. Asgard’s driver will contact you again on the day to confirm when you are the next delivery. Your Asgard shed will then be delivered (and installed if you have also selected Asgard’s home installation service).
 
Asgard uses its own delivery vehicles to ensure your product arrives in perfect condition. Most of their products are sent flat-packed allowing you to build the unit yourself. This reduces Asgard’s transport costs and minimises their environmental impact.
 
All Asgard deliveries are conducted Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. 
 
Please note Asgard often delivers its units on large vehicles. Please advise Asgard of any delivery restrictions to the delivery address (narrow roads, restricted access times etc) prior to your delivery date. Asgard can be contacted on 03456 580 730. If Asgard are not informed of any restrictions they may be unable to complete the delivery and you are likely to be charged for re-delivery.
 
My Secure Garden Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for issues with the delivery of Asgard storage product and will not be responsible for any redelivery costs.
 
If you cannot be at home at the time your Asgard unit is delivered Asgard will leave your delivery in a pre-arranged location or area provided you agree to this with Asgard prior to them delivering your goods. Neither Asgard nor My Secure Garden Ltd can be held responsible for goods once the Asgard delivery driver has left your premises. Under no circumstance will Asgard or My Secure Garden Ltd take responsibility for any loss or damage to unattended products. If you are not at home on the scheduled delivery date, and Asgard are unable to complete the delivery, you will be re-charged for re-delivery. Asgard take a photo of all goods delivered as proof of delivery.
 
Damaged or Incorrect Asgard Deliveries
 
Although Asgard do their utmost to ensure all their units arrive with you in perfect condition, sometimes there are unavoidable problems. If you discover a problem or have an issue with your Asgard product or any aspect of Asgard’s delivery/installation service (as is applicable) then in the first instance you will need to speak with your Asgard delivery driver (who are employed directly by Asgard) who will do their best to resolve the problem on site.  If you find a problem with your Asgard unit after delivery you will need to contact Asgard’s customer service care line on 03456 580 730 (quoting your 6 digit order number) within 5 working days of your delivery date or email cs@asgardsss.co.uk. Asgard will seek to resolve any issues as quickly as they can. 
 
Asgard Installation Service
 
All Asgard sheds come with full instructions and are designed for home assembly. You may, however, choose to pay for the Asgard shed installation service to save you the time and effort of assembling the product yourself. This option can be selected during the checkout service.
 
Asgard products are high quality, heavy gauge steel, and as a result are very heavy. If you choose to assemble the unit yourself, you are advised to ensure you are physically able to construct such an item before commencing work. Self-assembly of most Asgard units requires two people. Asgard and My Secure Garden Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or injury resulting from building an Asgard unit.
 
Before taking delivery, Asgard recommend that all Asgard storage sheds be situated on a firm, flat, level base. Ideally this should be 50mm/2” thick concrete, tarmac or flagstones (patio slabs). Asgard’s recommended minimum level base size for each product is specified on the product’s web page.
 
The location of your shed is also important to ensure the ventilation system works as designed.  Your shed should be sited a suitable distance away from plant life and walls to minimise condensation inside the unit.
 
Please note, if your base is not suitable to build on when the Asgard shed installation team arrive and you ask them to proceed against their advice you may be asked to sign a disclaimer.
 
Asgard metal sheds feature an integral metal base which are designed to be bolted down to a concrete base as an added security measure. If the shed base is built to the exact size of the shed and you attempt to bolt the shed down, the impact of the drill can cause the concrete below to break and crumble. 
 
Please note if you wish to secure/drill a ground anchor to the floor you will require a minimum 100mm depth of concrete. Tarmac and paving stones are not suitable. Asgard’s installation team will not fit ground anchors.
 
Asgard products do no not normally require planning permission however there may be exceptions depending on the size of your house and its surrounding land, the proportion of ground area covered by the unit in relation to the total land area around your house, the siting of the unit in relation to your house, and whether your property is within a conservation area, is a listed building, or covered by an Article 4 Direction. You are advised to check with your Local Planning Authority prior to ordering your unit if you believe planning permission may be required. Asgard and My Secure Garden Ltd will take no responsibility if after taking delivery you are asked to remove the unit due to Local Planning Authority regulations.
 
Asgard Returns
 
You have a legal right under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. The point at which this 14 day refund time applies depends on whether the Asgard items you have purchased through My Secure Garden Ltd are Asgard ‘goods’ or ‘services’ and how they have been delivered.
 
If you have purchased Asgard “goods” through My Secure Garden Ltd (for example a metal garden shed) you can cancel your order at any time up to the day prior to delivery and receive a full refund. The instructions for cancelling your Asgard ‘goods’ order are set out below. You also have a right to change your mind up to 14 days after the day you have taken delivery of your goods from Asgard and receive a refund, however you will be responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to Asgard in a saleable condition.  A charge of £150 will be taken from any refund for collection of the goods after they have been delivered. If any of the Asgard goods that you wish to return have been built there will also be an additional 30% charge of the order value as Asgard cannot re-sell the product e.g. metal garden shed unit once it has been built. If you build the unit and then wish to return it, you will be responsible for the dismantle of the unit ready for collection, or Asgard can do this for a fee.  If you paid for installation, and wish to return the unit, you will not receive the installation cost back. If Asgard find that the unit has been damaged and is not suitable for resale they will charge My Secure Garden accordingly (up to 90%) of the order value.  This charge will be at the discretion of Asgard Customer Services and is not negotiable. Any such charges that Asgard may apply to us for damages to the product in your possession will be deducted from any refund that we issue to you. My Secure Garden Ltd will not get involved in any disputes that you may have with Asgard regarding damaged products or returns.
 
If you have purchased Asgard ‘services’ alongside Asgard ‘goods’ through My Secure Garden Ltd (for example Asgard’s optional shed installation service) you have 14 days after your order has been processed by My Secure Garden Ltd and placed with Asgard to change your mind and receive a refund for the ‘services’ you have purchased, provided those services haven’t started or completed during the cancellation period. If you change your mind after Asgard have started the services you will be required to pay for the services that have been provided up to the time you advise us that you have changed your mind and still pay us for any goods you have purchased with the services.
 
If you feel your Asgard goods were delivered damaged or faulty in any way simply inform the Asgard delivery team who will remove and replace any damaged items.  If you notice any damages after delivery, please photograph the damages and contact Asgard’s customer service care line on 03456 580 730 (quoting your 6 digit order number) within 5 working days of your delivery date or email cs@asgardsss.co.uk. Asgard will then work with you to resolve any issues as quickly as they can.
 
Please note: Asgard advise against constructing the unit if you feel it is damaged. Asgard will not accept images of damaged fully built units as proof of damaged delivery.
 
To cancel your order for any Asgard ‘goods’ or ‘services’, or to request or arrange a return of any delivered or installed Asgard goods, please email info@mysecuregarden.co.uk and provide us with the following information:

Any refunds for Asgard goods or services will be processed and paid to you by My Secure Garden Ltd.
 
Neither Asgard nor My Secure Garden Ltd can be held responsible for unwanted Asgard goods once they have been delivered.
 
Trimetals Product Orders
 
Delivery Procedure and Timescales
 
The delivery time for Trimetals metal storage units is approximately 2-4 weeks from the date we receive your order.  All orders for Trimetals products are processed and placed by My Secure Garden Ltd with Trimetals within 2 business days of receiving your order confirmation. Orders received by Trimetals after 2pm on weekdays are normally processed the next working day.  The majority of garden storage accessories supplied by Trimetals (for example shed flooring) are only available at the time of the initial storage unit purchase. 
 
Trimetals provides delivery to most postcodes within mainland England and Wales, with their delivery cost usually included in My Secure Garden’s advertised price.
 
Delivery to Scotland, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles and Scottish Isles may be arranged subject to an additional delivery charge. Please contact us at info@mysecuregarden.co.uk or by using the form on our Contact Us page if you require delivery to one of these places. We will respond to you as quickly as possible to confirm if delivery to your address is possible and any additional delivery charges. If delivery to your address is possible and you wish to place an order please contact us on 07719 951280 and we will process your order over the telephone.
 
Trimetals is currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland. Orders for overseas delivery will not be processed and a full refund will be given within 14 days of your order confirmation.
 
Trimetals Order Process
 
Once your order has been processed and placed with Trimetals you will receive a confirmation email from My Secure Garden Ltd confirming the details of your order. Your order will then be fulfilled by Trimetals around the estimated date provided to you in the confirmation email, or if the confirmation email does not provide a date, within 30 days. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 5 days of placing your order please contact us at info@mysecuregarden.co.uk or by using the form on our Contact Us page to ensure your order has been placed and accepted by Trimetals. 
 
In the event Trimetals are unable to supply the product that you have ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and a full refund will be given within 14 days of your order.
 
After receiving your order confirmation from My Secure Garden Ltd, the next contact you receive will be from Trimetals, who will contact you to confirm your product(s) are ready for dispatch and to arrange a delivery day.
 
Trimetals will make all reasonable efforts to deliver your product within the timeframe specified but neither Trimetals nor My Secure Garden Ltd accept any liability for any failure to deliver your product within that time.  Delivery of Trimetals products is often undertaken via third party carriers and can therefore be beyond their control. Deliveries are usually arranged and completed on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 9am and 5pm. Unfortunately, Trimetals are unable to offer deliveries at specific times of the day.
 
Trimetals also offer a Saturday morning delivery service (before 12pm) for some of their storage units (excluding their Titan range) for an additional charge of £35. If you require a Saturday morning delivery, please contact us before placing your order and we will make enquiries with Trimetals to see if this can be arranged for you. If a Saturday morning delivery is possible for your selected product we will notify you by email and arrange to take your payment for the additional Saturday delivery charge over the phone after you have placed your order on the My Secure Garden website. My Secure Garden Ltd.’s £250 free delivery policy set out in Section 1 does not apply to additional delivery charges for a Saturday morning Trimetals delivery.
 
Trimetals will deem the delivery to be complete when the product has arrived at your specified delivery address and a signature has been taken from the recipient. Trimetals and My Secure Garden Ltd will not accept any responsibility where the customer instructs Trimetals’ carrier to leave the goods at a delivery address without a signature. Products will be deemed the customers’ responsibility once received and a signature obtained or where Trimetals has conformed to the customers’ delivery instructions. Any loss or damage to the products thereafter will be at the customers’ own risk. It is the recipient’s responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carriers’ delivery consignment note. If the goods are damaged the customer must sign the consignment note as “damaged” or alternatively refuse the delivery in total. If the product is not damaged and the delivery is refused or you are not present at the specified delivery address and date then Trimetals may charge you for re-delivery.
 
Trimetals and My Secure Garden Ltd will accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury resulting from building a Trimetals unit.

Trimetals Returns
 
Trimetals allows you to return any delivered product you have purchased within a “reasonable time” from the date of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). Trimetals view a “reasonable time” to be 14 working days.  To request or arrange a return you must notify Trimetals in writing via email (sales@trimetals.co.uk) or post (Trimetals Limited, Sunrise Park, Blandford, Dorset, DT11 8ST) within 14 working days from the date of delivery. If you are returning a product for any reason, except damage or manufacturer defect, you must pay the costs of returning the product to Trimetals. On request, Trimetals will collect the product(s) from you, but the cost of this will be charged to My Secure Garden Ltd and will be deducted from the refund that we pay to you. However, no charge will be made if the following conditions apply: the product delivered is not what you ordered or does not correspond with its description; the product delivered is not of a satisfactory quality or fit for purpose, the product arrives damaged or faulty and you have notified us or Trimetals within 14 days of delivery, in which case Trimetals may replace the item or affected parts or you may cancel the order and receive a full refund. You will not be charged for the costs of returning a defective product.
 
If your product arrives in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier’s delivery consignment note and inform Trimetals by post (Trimetals Limited, Sunrise Park, Blandford, Dorset, DT11 8ST) or emailing sales@trimetals.co.uk within a reasonable time.
 
Trimetals will not accept returns of any products where assembly has been attempted, or where the products have been altered by applying chemicals or paints to the surfaces or by altering or customising the product in any way that could be deemed as you using or treating the products as your own. Products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. If products were delivered flat packed, they must be returned in the same way. Care must be taken to ensure the return products are packed well to avoid damage or loss of parts in transit. Products returned which cannot be re-sold as new due to damage or wear and tear are likely to result in a reduction in the refund given.
 
Refunds for Trimetals products will normally be processed within 30 days. Any refunds due to you (minus any deductions for collection and damages) will be paid to you by My Secure Garden Ltd.
